Charlotte Friends of Jung warmly invite you to explore the shadow land of disobedience with Jutta Von Buchholtz, Ph. D., Zurich trained Jungian analyst. Friday we will discuss a biblical event of disobedience to a divine mandate and its dire consequences. With the images as starting point, we will compare the stories of Adam and Eve with that of Philemon and Baucis. Saturday we will explore fairy tales and myths in order to discover the psychological aspects and implications of disobedience in our present day lives: in childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. All are welcome regardless of their knowledge of Jung.
