My pick for this week is the Eddie Griffin comedy show at Ovens Auditorium — it’s the holiday season, so make it a date night. Let me refresh your memory about this guy. Edward Rubin Griffin, aka Eddie Griffin, is an actor and comedian. You probably remember him from Malcolm & Eddie, which ran for four years in the late ’90s. Like many people, I remember him from his role in Undercover Brother in 2002. He’s a funny guy and has been off the scene for a while. I’ve always been a fan and am interested in seeing if he still has it. His famous skit imitating Michael Jackson on drugs used to leave me in tears. (Mike Kitchen)
