Egg Nog Jog 5K
“Eggnog” and “jog” are two words that should never be placed together, yet this has become a very popular holiday run for folks looking to get in the Christmas spirit a little early. Don’t worry, it’s not the vomit-inducing event it sounded like. Break out your tackiest sweaters and best Christmas costumes — bonus points for the costumes with lights — for the untimed, family-friendly run/walk. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Speedway Children’s Charity, and no, you don’t have to chug egg nog throughout the race.
