The Charlotte Museum of History will partner with Drums 4 Life to produce three Family Fun Days that celebrate African American culture. The January event will explore explore Justice, Protest and Inspiration. Each day will include African drum circle music, an educational activity that centers on African American history in Charlotte, and a craft activity for children to make a drum and create their own drum circle. A local poet and artist will enhance the program by adding poetry and a collective art project that will involve attendees.
