Everybody loves the G Love. Don’t ask us why. Maybe it’s that Special Sauce — the laid-back blend of blues and rap he’s touted for as long as we can remember. Or least since the ‘90s H.O.R.D.E. jam-band tours. What G Love cooks up is not really blues or rap, but his Sauce is so damn good-timin’ Special that nobody gets offended. He just keeps on keeping on, singing easily digestible peace-’n’-luv tunes for non-rap fans who want to feel “contemporary.”
