Girls Shred Free
The fine folks at Armada Skate Shop have been proactive in getting girls on their boards this summer. Since June, they’ve been sponsoring a weekly event for girls to show up and skate, regardless of resources. Don’t have any money? Skate for free. Don’t have any pads? Armada has got you on that front, too. Admission is free all day, but the crowd usually starts to show up around 5 p.m., so if you’re trying to show off a little bit, that’s your time to shine.
