A young quartet, Givers draw from the bubbling musical cauldron of their Lafayette, Louisiana home, mixing jazz, Afrobeat and funk into a concoction that’s familiar yet fresh. Their self-described “dancy pants, indie-pop love music” moves your butt, while their dual male/female lead vocals suggest a spacey-cool collision of New Orleans hippie mojo and jittery ’80s New Wave world beat.
