For the past seven-months local artists have made use — creating and showcasing art — of the former Goodyear Service Center in Uptown. The building, bought by Crescent Communities who let artists use it up until scheduled demolition, will hold a final public show with work by Kelly Keith, Lisandro Herrera, Holly Christine Keogh, Robert Childers, Leah Mulligan Cabinum, Matthew Steele, Todd Stewart, Kathryn Godwin, Graham Carew, Amy Herman & Amy Bagwell in the building & on the exterior. Performances start at 7 p.m. and include Megan Payne & Sarah Ingel's "In consideration of herself," XOXO's "Frankenstein Dance Party," Ghost Trees, Brut Beat Trio, Patois Counselors and DJ Blaine Hurdle.
