Grand Opening: Romare Bearden Park
The brand new community park, named after Charlotte-born artist Romare Bearden, is one block north of Mint Museum Uptown on South Church Street. There will also be free gallery tours (including Bearden's exhibit) at Mint Museum Uptown during the weekend.
