Grey Revell (born October 28, 1973) is a music producer and songwriter originally from Los Angeles, California. In the late 1990s, he moved to New York City, where among other artists, including Kimya Dawson, Jeffrey Lewis and Regina Spektor, he found a creative home in the Lower East Side Anti-folk community.
With a strong emphasis on melody and atmospherics, His own work has drawn comparisons to artists like Brian Eno, and Alejandro Escovedo.
In recent years, he has returned as the leader of Grey Revell’s Roman Candles, an indie rock group releasing consistent material and touring regionally to strong reviews
