Halestorm
Hard-rock quartet Halestorm is taking a different approach to its current tour. There’s no opener. The band is playing at least two sets of music and promising surprises at every tour stop. So far, it’s been a brief acoustic set followed by a lengthy electric one that totals around 25 songs — and hey, it gives Arejay Hale plenty of time to hammer the shit out his drums. They’ve even been throwing in the occasional Tom Petty cover. (Jeff Hahne)
