Hawthorne Lane United Methodist Church Annual Barbecue and Bake Sale Thursday November 5 Hawthorne Lane United Methodist Church 501 Hawthorne Lane in Elizabeth One block from E. Seventh St./Monroe Road near Independence Park. 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Rain or shine Plates ($9.50) have a heaping serving of BBQ plus slaw, chips, bread and dessert. A bag of sandwiches ($9.50) includes 3 sandwiches, slaw on the side, a bag of chips and a dessert. Drinks are also available. All proceeds go to mission projects.
