Haydn, Brahms, and Mendelssohn: The Sacred and The Secular
The Charlotte Master Chorale and North Carolina Masterworks Orchestra will present "The Sacred and the Secular" at First United Methodist Church on Sunday November 3rd at 7:00 pm. Dr. Kenney Potter will be conducting. This program will feature: Haydn's Te Deum (We Praise Thee); Brahms' Schicksalslied (Song of Destiny); and Mendelssohn's Die Erste Walpurgisnacht (The First Walpurgisnacht).
Special guests will be the Young Artists in Residence singing with the choir and orchestra on the Haydn Te Deum. Tickets are $30.00 and are available on CarolinaTix as well as at the door. Student tickets with valid ID are $10.
