SUSTO
Susto is the Charleston-based folk-rock project from former Sequoyah Prep School frontman Justin Osborne. The group’s origins came from a Cuban-inspired sojourn Osborne took after the breakup of SPS. The quintet’s acoustic-heavy instrumentation leans toward alt-country and what the band calls “progressive Americana.” Susto’s lone, self-titled studio album was released in 2014. (Jeff Hahne)
