Former Emmy award-winning producer for ABC and NBC news, journalist and author A’Lelia Bundles will host The Family Collage through the Duke Energy Sponsored Heritage and History series. Bundles is the great, great granddaughter of Madam C.J. Walker, an entrepreneur and pioneer in the hair industry for African American women in the 19th century. Additionally, Bundles is the great granddaughter of A’Lelia Walker, who was a Harlem Renaissance icon who travelled the world collecting friends and art along the way. As Bundles shares fascinating stories of both famous families, guests will gain insights and be inspired to collect family histories
