Holy Ghost Tent Revival Tribute to Beck's Midnight Vultures
What started out as a folk-infused, Dixieland-style rollilcking good time has matured and calmed a bit over the years. Greensboro’s Holy Ghost Tent Revival is now filed under a more plugged-in genre label within more of an indie-rock setting. The banjo and acoustic instruments have disappeared by the wayside as electric guitars, and rhythm and blues have taken a stronger hold on them. On this night, the band will pay tribute to Beck’s album Midnite Vultures, as well. (Jeff Hahne)
