Home on the Mornin' Train

This play, set in 1839 Talledega, Alabama and 1939 Hamburg, Germany, is driven be a book about the Underground Railroad woven throughout the play, which guides a group of young Jewish children of hope to escape to freedom. The story delivers a message of courage and the evidence that those who long for freedom travel the same road. This all-youth production unfolds as two separate dramas on one stage. March 8th will be a special show designed to engage young audience members (grades 3-12) in understanding fictional and non-fictional characters, history and themes. The school show performance will end with a special cast meet and greet in the lobby.
