A coalition of government, businesses, nonprofits and churches announced in the first week of 2015, that they plan to end chronic homelessness by the end of 2016. What's being done? Dr. Lori Thomas, Associate Professor in the School of Social Work, UNC Charlotte will moderate a panel of individuals involved in the efforts come together to discuss their work and how our community is addressing the issue. Panelists: Dale Mullennix, Executive Director, Urban Ministry Center Susan Hansell, Executive Director, A Child’s Place Matt Shaw, Executive Director, Speak Up Magazine Free to attend.
