Bring your ax, step on the Stage Door Theater stage and match your skills with Charlotte’s jazz musician community. In the great tradition of jazz, this is how the music is born.
Jazz music and it’s most pivotal innovations were born out of jam sessions. Jazz is a communal music, where musicians incorporate call and response, and bounce ideas off of each other. This is the essence of jazz music. Everyone is invited. Join in the experience.
