La Santa Cecilia Based out of California, this Mexican-American group is a hodgepodge of music genres — Afro-Cuban, Cumbia, Bossa Nova, rock and more. In 2014 the band’s Treinta Dias picked up a Grammy and this year’s Buenaventura — which features the single “Nunca Mas,” a song about standing up against violence — couldn’t have come at a better time.
