While the greater Charlotte area has experienced “hyper” growth over the past 15 years, we have a longer history of Latinos immigrating from different nations, cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. A panel will discuss the landscape of the Latino population, the opportunities and the challenges Latinos encounter living in the Charlotte region.
PARKING: Two-hour complimentary parking at 7th Street Station next to the Museum
OTHER DETAILS: This is the first of four community conversations on how Latinos are shaping Charlotte and the New South and are, in turn, being shaped by the region. A light reception will follow the program.
