NoDa may be small and have fewer galleries than it used to, but as artists in the community have shown us by opening doors to their studios, it’s still a stronghold for the arts. Notable local William Puckett (the master behind the big mural on the side of Jack Beagle’s, “Als Ich Chan: A Tribute to NoDa”) will present large-scale paintings during L’Art Pour L’Art, a new art and music event aimed at revitalizing the NoDa arts community. The event will also include performances by Little Bull Lee and Jesse Clasen of bands HRVRD and The Bear Collective. While you’re there, drop into Hart Witzen Gallery next door for its annual Showdown exhibit.
