LYDIA LOVELESS
Alt-country troubadour Lydia Loveless 24, is one of those wise-beyond-her-years singer/songwriters. She’s been involved in music for the last 10 years, including a couple of stints under slick and polished label eyes. She shed those images long ago for a down-and-dirty presentation that is more Doc Martens than cowboy boots. Her latest album, February’s Somewhere Else, is more acoustic than electric, but still kicks up enough grit to satisfy fans. (Jeff Hahne)
