Mamas Day 10K & 1K Stroller Push

Come out and celebrate Mother’s Day weekend by also Support Safe Motherhood with a 10K run beginning at Carrier Park and continuing along the French Broad River. Proceeds benefit Mama Maisha, an Asheville-based non-profit making motherhood safer in Tanzania. Pregnancy complication-related deaths are rare in developed countries, but in Tanzania, one mother dies every single hour.
