Marty Haggard
Marty was born and raised in Bakersfield, Ca. Everyone knows his Dad, Merle Haggard, who Marty considers "the best country singer-songwriter ever". Marty's love for his Dad's music inspired him to begin a project titled A Tribute to Merle Haggard "My Dad". In 2010 he cut the first album in his tribute consisting of 15 Haggard Classics. In 2010/2011 he performed at the Oak Ridge Boy's Theatre and Clap Copper Theatre in Branson, Mo. In 2011 he also recorded his second tribute album to his dad. He has spent the last 5 years performing in the US and abroad.
