Winthrop's College of Visual and Performing Arts will present awards to writer and comedian Fortune Feimster, arts advocate and South Carolina Senator Wes Hayes, traditional sweetgrass artist Mary Jackson, and community organizer and musician Si Kahn for their work in and contributions to the arts. A reception in honor of distinguished guests will follow the ceremony.
