It’s been three years since Hannah Montana ended its four-year run on the Disney Channel. Times have changed. This is not going to be a Hannah Montana concert or anything close to it. Leave the kids at home, since this tour should have an 18+ warning label on it. Have you seen the photos from the tour so far? Miley wears a pot leaf-adorned thong bodysuit. She simulates oral sex on a guy with a President Clinton mask. She rubs her crotch in Madonna-esque fashion. And then there’s the twerking trend that just won’t fucking go away. Yep, she sings and dances around, too, but this tour is as much about dropping any childish image you have of her as it is shock value for the unaware. If Miley is off the rails, this is the first sign that there’s a complete train wreck ahead. If this is all carefully staged and plotted (which is likely), it’s just a way to keep her name on people’s tongues while they stick them out, just like she does. (Jeff Hahne)
