The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art screens the documentary Design & Thinking (trailer, 75 minutes) April 14 during the museum’s Modernism + Film program.
“When the government came to us and asked us to redesign the ballot, we said we wouldn’t redesign the ballot,” says a designer in this 2012 documentary by filmmaker Mu-Ming Tsai, “but what we would do is redesign the election experience.” That exchange serves as the basis for Design & Thinking — how modern technological changes and design thinking are being applied to society and business.
