The Early Music Ensemble of Central Piedmont Community College Music for Shakespeare -- on the 400th anniversary of his death. Music from Shakespeare's time on reproduction instruments with readings from the Bard's writings. This will be a fun program. The Early Music Consort from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, directed by Holly Maurer, with shaum, krummhorns, gambas, recorders, finger-cymbals -- in pavanes and galliards, almands and courantes to set your toes tapping. Guest soprano Tina Zenker Williams from Savannah joins the group for Shakespeare songs by Dowland and Morley. Hazel Somerville offers a Fantasia by Byrd on the fine
