Led by renowned Latin Jazz educators, students will play repertoire in a Latin Jazz orchestra and learn fundamentals including clave rhythms, improvisational theory, Latin Jazz history and stage presence. This is a unique 12-week program for middle and high school students to study an exciting facet of jazz. Woodwinds, Brass, Rhythm Section, and Percussion Players, with at least one year on their instruments, are encouraged to join. We are able to offer full scholarships to all accepted students. Registration and audition are required. Auditions: September 24 & October 1 Program: Wednesdays 6-8pm, October 5 – December 14.
