Nightmares: Urgent Messages from the Guiding Self

Charlotte Friends of Jung presents Dr. Howard Tyas, a certified Jungian analyst. In the Friday lecture, Howard will explore nightmares from many perspectives: personal nightmares as well as nightmares expressed in art and film. He will show how nightmares address the fears and anxieties that block us from living a creative and meaningful life. In the Saturday workshop Howard will examine situations, motifs, figures, objects and animals often cited as being frightening. He will provide opportunities for participants to explore their own nightmares in order to better understand them.
