Oh nostalgia, you’re a wicked temptress. Sure, both rock bands put out new albums recently — NIN’s Hesitation Marks (2013) and Soundgarden’s King Animal (2012) — but a double-bill like this is usually, unfortunately, about the hits. Screw the top 40, though. Fans want to hear Chris Cornell wail on “Jesus Christ Pose” and Trent Reznor lose his mind on “Wish.” Nostalgia never felt so needed. (Jeff Hahne)
