NOVANT HEALTH 2015 THUNDER ROAD MARATHON unites the excitement of road racing, music, family-friendly entertainment and the Charlotte region's rich heritage of stock car racing. From the time the green flag drops on race day until the checkered flag falls on the final finisher, you will experience the race of a lifetime! The 2015 event benefits Hemby Children's Hospital. Other distances include a half marathon, 5K run/walk, marathon relay team and a kids 1 Mile Fun Run. Cost is $40 to $115 (depends on the race distance) by Nov. 8, 2015.
