The City Wide Kwanzaa Festival Comes To Plaza-Midwood! Nubian Rootz, The House of Africa, & The Males Place, presents a day long festival of arts & crafts, education, demos, lectures, health & wellness for the entire family. Interactive workshops, Yoga, Zumba, African Dance, Meditation, African History, Women's Self Defense, Authors and more. The Kwanzaa Candle Lighting Ceremony Program is 3:00 - 5:00 pm. The African Marketplace vendors remain open all day.
