Instructor Michael Story will discuss what elements make a strong composition, and the advantages and pitfalls of using photo reference. A strong charcoal drawing is recommended as your guide. Methods will be broken down into a step-by-step process showing you how to achieve fresh, bright color in your oil paintings while avoiding the muddy mixtures.
