Enjoy the freedom of the palette knife. Learn to create an oil painting with use of this tool. Composition, contrast, and balance will be addressed, with “keeping it loose” as our main focus. Learn how different knives will produce different strokes, movement and style to your non-brush paintings. Using panels and stretched canvas, students will complete knife paintings during three-day workshop. Oil and acrylic artists welcome. Break for lunch each day. Pre-registration required for all workshops. We accept Visa or Mastercard over the phone; or you can stop by during gallery hours with payment. Hours on website.
