Piedmont Triad Home Movie Day/ Personal Digital Archiving Day
The first ever Piedmont Triad Home Movie Day will be held this Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 1:00–5:00 p.m. in the auditorium of Wake Forest University’s Z. Smith Reynolds Library. Home Movie Day is an international celebration that provides a showcase for amateur films.
A panel comprised of experts from Davidson College, Wake Forest University, University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and A/V Geeks will discuss the importance of preserving personal materials, uses of personal materials, and best practices. Come watch movies, bring a film to screen, and get preservation tips!
