The eight-member, Grammy-winning Rebirth Brass Band has been kickin’ it New Orleans style since the early 1980s. They fuse together elements of jazz, blues, funk, soul and more for a Southern stew that goes down easy like a big bowl of jambalaya — yep, the music’s got the right spice in it, too. Featured on the HBO series Tremé, Rebirth Brass Band even has a beer named after them — Rebirth Pale Ale. (Jeff Hahne)
