Maurice Duruflé’s Requiem is arguably one of the most beautiful works in the canon of choral literature. Based on the Gregorian Chant settings of the Requiem service, it is a tour d’force for choir and organ. The Chancel Choir of Providence United Methodist Church will sing this exquisite work on Friday, November 2 at 7:30 in the evening as part of the David Bashor Memorial Organ Concert Series at the church. Under the direction of Adam Ward, the choir will be accompanied by the church's Artist in Residence, Dongho Lee at the Robinson Organ.
