Romare Bearden Youth Collage Competition
To celebrate the grand opening of Romare Bearden Park, Park and Recreation will hold a Youth Collage Art Competition to encourage youth, ages 1 to 18, to express their understanding of Romare Bearden’s legacy through the creation of collages.
Participants interested in submitting an entry should drop off their artwork at the Park and Recreation Administrative Office Building, 5841 Brookshire Blvd., during regular business hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) between through August 31.
