This is not the country music you’ll find on the radio.Call it country punk, alt-country, etc., it’s some badass shit whatever way you slice it. Coming out of Garner and fueled by whiskey and cigarettes, Shook’s outlaw twang is anything but disarming, but that’s the way we like it. The band’s new LP, Years, cements their spot as one of the best country bands in the States, and a home-state show makes it all the better.
