Central Piedmont Group of Sierra Club will hold an Invasive Removal Service Outing. 9 am-12. Volunteers are needed to help remove invasive plants along the Little Sugar Creek Greenway (part of Carolina Thread Trail) at Freedom Park. Work gloves and garden tools are provided. Meet at Carolina Thread Trail sign behind Nature Museum (1658 Sterling Road) or park on Princeton Ave. and walk to CTT sign. Details: charlottesierraclub.org. maryloubuc@aol.com.
