SIRSY delivers hook-drenched, resonating melodies and clever, honest lyrics, writing songs that run the gamut from wildly joyful to utterly heartbreaking. Known for singing and playing drums, while standing, and handling bass (on a keyboard, played with a drumstick), Mel is also known to throw in a flute solo. Her manic energy is grounded by Rich’s solid, yet seething, guitar playing. He also performs bass with a keyboard at his feet. Together, they create a dynamically full sound that resonates like a five piece band.
