When guitarist Jeff Hanneman died of liver failure in 2013, many fans assumed it would be the end of the legendary metal outfit Slayer. Even singer/bassist Tom Araya said it would be like starting over. Then the band released a new song, announced a new album and hit the road. Guitar duties have been filled by Gary Holt since 2011 when Hanneman left for other health issues. Throw your horns in the air. (Jeff Hahne)
