Brooklyn, N.Y., noise-pop duo Sleigh Bells finds the perfect convergence between the sweet and sexy pop vocals of Alexis Krauss and the chugging, furious, fuzz-infused Jackson-guitar riffs of Derek Miller. It’s no surprise that the duo would find time to go boxing before recording its third studio effort, Bitter Rivals, as the album packs plenty of the band’s one-two punch.
