Smile, We Get To Make Beer
In today’s world, having a career that allows you to do what you love is something of a rarity. Most folks just do what pays the bills and dream of retirement. But not the folks at NoDa Brewing. How do we know? Well, we didn’t find out by getting them drunk. Instead, we’ve learned about the joys of brewing through local filmmaker Ryan Heefner’s upcoming documentary, Smile, We Get to Make Beer. The film, parts of which will be shown during an upcoming preview at World of Beer, will feature interviews with NoDa Brewing’s head brewer, Chad Henderson, and owners Todd and Suzie Ford. The shindig will also include live music, raffles, and — surprise — drink specials. Cheers to that!
