SOME: A Storytelling Open Mic Experiment
Local actress Nicia Carla will host this event as Carmella Tampone of The World Famous Tampones, a local music/surreal comic duo. It’s an open mic, so anyone is welcome to perform original works, including dances, songs and stories. This event, the first of what hopefully becomes a regular thing, is themed around “Groundhog’s Day,” so keep that in mind if you’re brave enough for the 10-minute-and-under set.
