Rev. Michael Curry, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina, will deliver the annual Staley Distinguished Christian Lecture titled “Ferguson, Immigration and Marriage Equality: How Can Christians Faithfully Follow Jesus in Our ‘21st Century Galilee?’” Bishop Curry will address social justice, and how Christians can draw upon faith in Jesus to advocate for racial justice, ethical immigration policy, and marriage equality. There is no admission charge for the talk, which begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Smith 900 Room of the Alvarez College Union. For more information call 704-894-2423.
