Steve Vai
His training was a who’s who in the world of guitar slingers, as Steve Vai got started at an early age by taking guitar lessons from Joe Satriani. At age 18, he was playing with Frank Zappa. He later played with David Lee Roth. Though it was released 26 years ago, Vai, who is now 56 years old, is continuing his Passion and Warfare 25th Anniversary tour with this stop. His instrumental work puts his guitar front-and-center with ease.
