Tauk, Groove Fetish
This instrumental rock-fusion quartet has hit the jam-band circuit hard in recent years and is currently on the road with Umphrey’s McGee. (This is an Umphrey’s-free headlining gig for the band, however.) The band can get electronic and funk up the place just as easily as settling into a jazzy groove that showcases instrumental intricacies. The band’s latest album, a double-disc live album entitled Headroom, was released in September. (Jeff Hahne)
